It was perfect weather and Mackenzie really enjoyed the train ride, which was about 90 minutes long.
We got our tickets to fun at the Train Depot... then wandered around a bit looking at the trains and things before it was time to board.
This picture is nothing but PURE Grandpa Heaven!
The REAL train engineer - not Grandpa Rod, but the dinosaur. Ok, he wasn't the REAL one either!
We walked on the train, and Mackenzie picked the very first seat, climbed up, turned around and sat down -- she was ready to go! But we thought we'd enjoy the ride more on the outdoor train car, so we moved on and found another seat.

This particular train ride was especially for kids, and there was a magician on board who made balloon animals for all the kids (note his very appropriate shirt) -- in Mackenzie's case he made a balloon insect, not animal, it was a (keep scrolling)....
LADY BUG balloon -- this isn't the best picture of the Lady Bug, but it was such a cute picture of Miss M hugging her Grandpa that I had to use it.
We had such a fun day, and Mackenzie was so good (even with new teeth trying their hardest to come in) -- thank you to her parents for giving us an awesome Grandparents Play Day!
