CHUGGA CHUGGA CHOO-CHOO

Saturday, July 9th was an exciting day for us! Grandpa Rod & I had the most fun filled day with Miss Mackenzie Lynn Larsen -- Scott & DeAnne planned a fun train ride excursion Walkersville, Maryland as a gift  for us.  We stopped by their house and picked up the cutest passenger a train could ever hope for, got her strapped snugly in her car seat and we were off!

  She even drove us there! (Hmm, how can she be in her car seat in the back and driver's seat in the front at the same time?  Hmm....)

 It was perfect weather and Mackenzie really enjoyed the train ride, which was about 90 minutes long.

We got our tickets to fun at the Train Depot... then wandered around a bit looking at the trains and things before it was time to board.

This picture is nothing but PURE Grandpa Heaven!

We walked on the train, and Mackenzie picked the very first seat, climbed up, turned around and sat down -- she was ready to go!   But we thought we'd enjoy the ride more on the outdoor train car, so we moved on and found another seat.

This particular train ride was especially for kids, and there was a magician on board who made balloon animals for all the kids (note his very appropriate shirt) -- in Mackenzie's case he made a balloon insect, not animal, it was a (keep scrolling)....

LADY BUG balloon -- this isn't the best picture of the Lady Bug, but it was such a cute picture of Miss M hugging her Grandpa that I had to use it.

We had such a fun day, and Mackenzie was so good (even with new teeth trying their hardest to come in) -- thank you to her parents for giving us an awesome Grandparents Play Day!
