Definitely a journal-entry weekend for the Larsen family as we closed out the month of March 2010. It was Mackenzie Lynn's blessing day, and what a special group turned out -- her dad pronounced the blessing, and the other priesthood holders in the circle included Grandpa Norton, Grandpa Larsen, Great Grandpa Larsen and Uncles Riley, Tim & Jason. She was wide awake but didn't fuss at all -- and then promptly fell fast asleep after the blessing -- then the sleeping baby got passed around from aunt to uncle to grandparent. She had on a beautiful blessing dress given to her by her Grandma & Grandpa Norton, and she was cuddled in a special Bethlehem Blessing Blanket brought back from the Holy Land by her Aunt Bob.
While the Larsen great grandparents were in DC we did a little sightseeing, including a visit to the Udvar Hazy Air & Space Museum (really awesome), a day long adventure at Gettysburg
National Battlefield, and then an afternoon visit to see the
2000 Japanese Cherry
trees in full bloom in our nation's capital.
But now it's time to get ready for a visit from the Easter Bunny -- and Mackenzie is all ready with her cute little Bunny footed sleeper outfit.

She is just adorable! I bet GnG had so much fun seeing another great grand baby! I hope you're loving being a grandma!
